Wood and all things hammer and nails!!!

The 4-week program is an introduction to woodworking practices. It focuses on learning about hand tools, machines and equipment covering basic techniques used with a range of timber materials. Participants will gain confidence each session when applying the skills learnt following safe work practices. Each participant will create a small item during the program to take away. The Term 4 project is a decorative pot plant trellis.

Course Cost:   $60   Tea & Coffee provided each week.

Pilates

Join Tanya Hertog for a weekly Pilates session.    Location:-  Seawinds Hub

Tanya has 22yrs remedial massage experience, so she has knowledge of correct movements, strengthening weaknesses, stretching muscles while working effectively building core.

$15 per session payable to Tanya (pay on the day via eftpos or cash)

Introduction to PÉtanque

Not able to visit Europe this year? Come and join us for an introduction to the French game of Petanque every Wednesday morning for 6 weeks. Like boules or bocce, we play on a specially prepared piste in the beautiful surroundings of Main Ridge.

We can demonstrate to you the intricacies of this low impact sport, lend you some boules for the duration of the game or you can just build up your skill if you are already familiar with the sport.

Cost $12 per person for 6 weeks with tea/coffee provided at the end of each game.

Contract Bridge for Beginners

Location:  Blairgowrie Senior Citizens Club             Tutor:  Margaret Morgan

Course to take beginners on a journey into the world of Contract Bridge. A sense of humour would work well and a willingness to learn the game. Members attend the first week to get full benefit from the lessons.

You can purchase a book that will assist, the cost is $22, not essential but preferable.

After 6 weeks members are invited to join a group for a weekly unsupervised game.
