Practicing yoga for 10 years inspired me to develop a greater understanding of yoga history, philosophy, and its evolution to yoga today (modern yoga).

This led me to undertake yoga teacher training at the Victorian Institute for Yoga Education and Teacher Training.

During this course, I developed a love for teaching yoga and helping others share my passion. After completing a year of Hatha Yoga training I began teaching yoga beginner classes to small groups of three to five participants. These classes focused on helping participants develop an understanding of yoga and what to expect from a yoga class to prepare them for attending any class.

In addition, I have taught yoga at the Uniting LifeAssist Carer Hub Hampton Park and enjoyed helping participants use yoga as a means of getting through daily life tasks.
