Cancellation and refunds

We rely on enrolments in events being honoured by our members.
If after enrolling and paying for an event you are unable to attend, you are welcome to nominate someone else to attend in your place.

Refunds:

SHORT COURSES:  Payment is required in advance and no refunds will be payable if you are unable to attend.

YEARLY COURSES:  Payment is required on and at each attendance.

SPECIAL EVENTS:  No refund will be payable, unless the vacant position is filled.

Event Cancellation:

We reserve the right to cancel an event.  Should an event be cancelled a full refund will be processed within 30 days of the date of cancellation. 

Non-attendance at classes

A member may be removed from a class if they are absent for three consecutive classes without an apology. 

Code Red day

Cancellation of all classes

Following declaration by the Victorian CFA of a Code Red Fire Danger Rating in the Central district (Melbourne, Geelong and surrounding areas).
All U3A Southern Peninsula classes and activities will be cancelled automatically, without notice, in all locations until the emergency has ceased.
Updated information regarding emergency situations is available on the CFA website (cfa.vic.gov.au), on local ABC 774 and commercial radio stations,
on Sky News TV, and on the Victorian Bushfire Information Line (1800 240 667). Members should stay informed, follow the advice given and not make
unnecessary trips.
